Bedford is located fifty miles north of Boston and adjacent to the state’s largest city, of Manchester. With a population of about 22,000 the community is viewed by many as an upscale residential town. Founded in 1750, the town has a total area of 33.1 square miles of which the majority is residentially zoned. For shopping convenience, many major retailers such as Macy’s, Bob’s Store, Walmart, Target and Lowes are located in Bedford.
The rapidly growing population of Bedford values education and boasts a highly regarded school system and close proximity to many cultural attractions in the nearby cities of Manchester and Concord.
